 Fleas are active throughout the year, considering that our homes are also their potential habitat.

Some of them choose moist and darker places (forests, bushes) while others choose an environment that is dry, so it is clear that they can be found all over our country.
They can be carriers of some extremely dangerous and potentially
fatal pet diseases such as:
Piroplasmosis
Anaplasmosis
Ehrlichiosis
and
Borreliosis
In addition, it is not pleasant to see them in our environment, considering that they can transmit the causative agents of some diseases that are dangerous for humans (borreliosis, tick-borne meningoencephalitis).

We should not forget flying insects that pose a problem for us in the warmer months.

​There are several species that are important for our pets in terms of the pathogens they can transmit to them especially in the Adriatic areas.
