When Lela and I decided to start breeding together, it was logical to lay some new foundations on the existing ones.
The logo was one of the first things we decided to make for our kennel.
A good logo should be distinctive, appropriate, memorable, versatile, practical, graphic and simple in form, and it should convey intended message.
Our logo supposed to contain the name of the kennel and visually best possible portray the Ridgeback breed.
There is no nicer scene than 2 ridgebacks in action. It was at such a moment that we both fell in love with the breed, when we saw Ridgebacks in action for the first time.
When playing what can be quite rough at times, the Ridgebacks are at their best in strength, agility, elegance and simply take everyone's breath away.
It was important to us that the logo also contains Ridge, the main feature of the breed and we definitely wanted logo to be "eyecatching" and simple.
Reviewing the archive photos, the idea came spontaneously when we saw a photo of two males levitate while playing on sand dunes in some kind of Michelangelo perfect composition.
That was it! :)
Somehow this composition merged perfectly with Neomele letters and their ridges on the back.
We just loved energy, power and the vibe of this moment.

Both dogs have name "Bebe" and this also was so special about this photography.
We have designed the logo by ourselves :) and this is why we love it even more <3
